From what I see, after Bg check started, it quickly changes to Decision made.
Maybe Mexico is very, very fast!

Can someone help me in finding out what stage I am at this is what my ECAS says.

it says "in progress": does that mean the AOR2?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 1, 2017.
2. We started processing your application on October 30, 2017.
3. We sent you correspondence on October 19, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4. We sent you correspondence on October 24, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. Medical results have been received.

The medical has says passed on my GCkey.

2 is AOR2, no one can tell you how far there are in processing the application. Once it goes to the VO it usually becomes radio silent for a period time while they process.

I beleive at this point eligibilty review starts, review your relationship , then security and criminality checks.

And in their glorious way of doing things we may never get notification that it has begun. I also didnt get a aor2 but i see movement on the app. I suspect i wont get notified when the background check starts as well

I just hope it happens already, but it is discouraging when they keep you in the dark on your own application lol

exact time line for me except I got an email to update my Sch A in the first week of Nov and nothing from the VO after that.

I got that too actually to update my Schedule A (I think I was missing information), hopefully they move along and we get something this coming Monday.

Do you mind if you could share your timeline? id like to compare aswell as are you at the Vienna office too?
