Hello All,

There is Spelling Difference in Place of Birth on Passport and Birth Certificate document..

On Passport, place of birth is FALTAN while on birth certificate it is PHALTAN..

Would that be an issue while submitting birth certificate document ?

What could be done to avoid this? such as giving an affidavit?

Thanks in Advance

I'm having the same issue but more different. The translation of my place of birth is somewhat very different on my passport and my birth certificate. I called CIC twice, one representative told me if I can have a letter from the consulate it would be better, I can write an explanation letter if I can't get the letter from the consulate. The 2nd time I called in, the representative told me to write an explanation letter. What I'm going to do is to have a letter from the notarized translator in Canada saying that the place of birth on my passport and birth certificate are proved to be the same place.

Hi folks,
In my birth certificate mother's name is written as 'mother's kname'. All the information other than this is correct. Does it make any issue?
Thanks in advance

It's a minor mistake.....nothing will happen but for the same side make an affidavit and submit along with that.
Hi ,
I need help
In my birth certificate every information is correct. But mother's name is written as 'mother's kName'. I already got my AOR. I talk to municipality about this they said they have problem in the format they cannot fix it.
Does it make any issue in future?

But I am tensed does it gonna get in to a trouble if I submit my application. I am the primary applicant she is dependent. She got her SSC certificate with name, dob, place of birth and both parents name.
Could anyone help me to find a solution.

What's the difference? Can you elaborate?

Is it completely different or spelling wise difference?

Hi friends,
I know this is very old post. But @b-pyl or @CooperStation22 could you please help?
I am planning to apply for PR through Non express entry program ( got an OINP). I don't have birth certificate with me. But I checked there is certificate of birth document given by BLS India.
Will that work? Has anyone applied?
