Then it's hard to say. Edmonton is already the fastest processing center. I know people who went from AOR to oath in 3 months under regular processing.Edmonton

the guys here are tougher than the agents who process the application!. good thing that they are not the one who decides on your application!Because you are the expert of deciding who gets to apply for urgent processing?
do you know if cic sent her a letter denying urgent processing? or she figured it out when her application didn't move faster than others?nobody is 'pissy' about anything, just found it funny that you believed your situation can justify 'urgent' processing.
Someone I know also requested urgent processing since she had an internship in Europe and needed passport for work visa - sounds just like your story - and got denied
what do you do for living?haha, I have a great job and I am enjoying my tea break at my job at the moment, that's why I can come in and see whatever nonsensical excuses people are making up to get ahead of others and laugh about it -- and don't get my wrong, I don't 'worry' about your business at all, it is not worth my energy, I just comment on it like you asked for
@Pretoria are you from Australian or from UK? you keep saying mate.Nice! Good job mate. Happy for you What an exciting life

What reason did you give for urgent processing?quick update:
application received the 16th of October, applied through the Urgent Processing request, AOR arrived today

Because my job depends on itWhat reason did you give for urgent processing?
Doesn't seem like your urgent processing got approved if it took almost 2 months for you to get AOR.quick update:

nope, AOR is just a matter of opening an envelope and putting you in the system, which took more time for hundreds of folks of the 16th of october. Only once they have actively open the envelope, they can review the documents and assess if they are missing something and in the case of urgent processing, if you fit the urgent request.Doesn't seem like your urgent processing got approved if it took almost 2 months for you to get AOR.
You might in fact have a point. Unless, the envelope itself is marked urgent.Approving a request has nothing to do with AOR at all as they cannot know if they will approve your demand or not until they actually open the envelope.
