Newborn doesn't have passport yet

Hi all,

I have received and ITA during the last draw and I do have a question. I have a newborn who is only few days old ( included in the application) but she still doesn't have a passport/ID yet and it's going to take some time until the passport is issued ( up to 6 weeks). What could be an alternative to submit my ITA application.

So, where is the problem? The passport takes 6 weeks to be issued and you have 90 days to submit your application. Apply for the passport right away and submit your PR application after having all the baby's paperwork (passport, birth certificate, medical, and photo) ready. If you can't get them within the 90 days period, submit what have towards the end of the 90 days and ask for an extension. Good Luck!

Thank you for reply! I am just worried because we still haven't received the Social security card yet ( it could take up to 6 weeks), then we can apply for the passport ( 6 more weeks) ..
