Showing financial means for Express Entry. The length of the balance held?

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the financial requirements of EE. I have an ITA from yesterday's draw. I still have 90 days to submit the application. I currently have about $2000 (CAD) in USDs. I am owed about $9000 USD (roughly $11500 CAD) by family members who I have asked to send me the money. They say they will deposit the money in about 3 weeks. I wanted to know if there is a requirement for submitting the financial documents that the money be in the account for a while. For instance, do I need to show that I have had $12300 in my account for at least 3 or 4 months? The reason I ask is that wouldn't it look weird if they saw a massive deposit a little time before I submit the application?

You need to show average balance for the past 6 month.

Thanks for the response. So does this mean that the average needs to be $12300? Are they interested in final amount on the day of submition or the average? Thanks!
