Ask me anything on the messsages
Hi Pooja.. please add me on Pharmacist group 91 9447617693HI Harman,
We have received AOR, waiting for PPR.
I'm an Industrial pharmacist (NOC 3131) - not into clinical / hospital pharmacy
I have got my ECA through WES.
I got to know that Industrial Pharmacist comes under Regulated Jobs, so if I want to work in Formulation R&D or related department in Canada after I get my PR, do I need to go through PEBC and is Licensure required for the job search for Formulation and related departments.
One more query.. I have completed ECA for my Diploma in Pharmacy and Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy which is equivalent to 2 years diploma and 4 years Bachelor's degree respectively. So please let me know whether I can update my highest qualification under the category "two or more diploma, degree certificate one is 3 years or more".
Kindly share the most important duties under industrial Pharmacist.. thanks

If you get ECA from PEBC you get points for Master's degree or Proffesional degree.
If you get ECA from WES you get points for 4years of Bachelor's degree.

You dont need to .
Hello everyone,
I have done my ECA. I have a bachelor of pharmacy from Mumbai University and ECA report from WES confirms the same
Now I am confused about selecting options . Should I select bachelors(112 crs points) or should I select professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (126 crs points) as pharmacy is listed on cic site as professional degree
PS: though I am registered pharmacist in India I don't work in pharma field neither I am applying for. Pharma related NOC code. I have work experience in sales n marketing n will be opting for noc 601 for corporate sales managers
Kindly help me with this.
Thank you
Bachelors of pharmacy have same points as masters or two or more degrees.
If you want to you can still show it as two or more degree. You are good to go in both options.
can industrial pharmacist get ECA from PEBC to get higher points? or is it only for retail and clinical pharmacists? If you have you get the licence to do that job then PEBC is must,,
If you have worked as an industrial pharmacist without licence,,, WES would be sifficent.
