FYI to those who see ECAS but no AOR, my whole app for sponsorship back in 2013 had a wrong email with CIC, it was their mistake as they missed a letter. I only found out after GCMS notes and took over 6 months to correct it
So they can make a mistake or somehow it was sent/missed

i am an October 16 applicant as well and haven/t received an AOR yet. We just have to be patient and wait until we hear back from them. I know how annoying and frustrating this is and that its not easy to jut wait for the AOR, but unfortunately there isn't much that we can do at this point. You can try sending them an online inquiry but i am not sure if its going to help because we are not in the system yet. I tried it and i haven't heard back from them yet.

Its FRUSTRATING. Mine delivered 11/19 still no AOR. Have some hope as i see people from 11/16 getting AOR today...

I think you should get AOR this week. or early next week.

My online status shows "Application Received", but doesn't have any mention of AOR being emailed, nor I have received any email about AOR yet, which seems vert strange to me. As far as I know, my application wasn't missing anything, and I haven't received my application back to me in mail yet either. Is it normal to have ECAS show, application received' without the AOR portion? Are there more people in the same boat?

Don' worry about it. Same happened to me. I was able to see the first point in eCAS since Nov. 22nd and I didn't receive the AOR email until Dec. 1st with the AOR attached dated Nov. 21st.

I changed my legal name and I attahced my certificate of name change.

When I got the AOR, my old name was shown in AOR and ECAS.
But now, my new name is shown on ECAS.

Yes, specially when people from November are getting AOR's and In Progress.

I'm particularly stressed because a lot of people have reported wrong address in their accounts. Or that they still have the one from they applied for PR. So I've moved several times since PR and wouldn't know if they return my package to an old address.

I guess I can't do anything but to wait. I trust that I sent a complete application and wasn't returned.
