Hi All,
I am currently working in collections with american express and with some research i got to know that its a category c for immigration. I have a total of 1.5 years of experience with US collections. Prior to this i have 6months of experience in technical support prior to collections exp. I want to knw if i am eligible for EE. I also can switch my job from collections to technical support but i am not sure wheather it will be relevent to BBA and the next job would be in a different company. Please suggest

To the best of my knowledge, your job category should fall under NOC O/A/B to be eligible for EE. For individual Province's Nominations, you might need to do a bit of homework on that front. Your employment need not be in-line with your education. A mechanical engineering degree holder can showcase his IT experience if he truly has it. Good luck.

Thankyou for your reply.
My question is that if i apply for another job in a technical field which is a category B and apply for immigration with less exp. Of my new job would my chances be up or will it decrease. As i discussed i have a technical experience back in 2015 and that too for 6months. Now, if after 1.5 years of exp. In collections if i try for a technical job would it actually be in my favour

You need to have a Job under NOC O/A/B for 1-Year Continuous. If you fulfill that then you are eligible for the EE program.
