I always used canada post for immigration purposes right from my PR process, so I trusted it and it is convenient. Cheap or may be not, I trusted it but you know different experience...that's happened to me right now

I had a problem with Fedex few years ego and since then I'm using Xpresspost with signature. It never failed me. I think the issue is with the processing office not Canada post.

If you had spent few more bucks on courier then you wouldn't have faced this hassle..People would waste money on luxuries but when it comes to sending documents they try to save money

Well if you have had some common sense you should have understood that I suggested to opt a better option to use a courier because its guaranteed and more reliable but you rather took it as offensive. And for that spending $20 or $30 more is not a big deal if some one is sensible. Hope that helps. And more over positive criticism is always appreciated if it helps some one. This is not the first time I am seeing some one sending package by Canada post and then complaining later on. This is for guidance to any one reading this..

Folks spend little more on courier to ship documents please to avoid any future embarrassment...This is for you as well. My advise to you is always use courier. Its trackable in real time..

Many of the items sent via Xpresspost do not get scanned. I sent my PCC for my PR application to CPC Ottawa and the item still shows in transit lol, but CPC Ottawa did receive my PCC within two business days. How did I figure out they received them? I sent an urgent request for GCMS notes to have them ready within 24 hours. You can do so if you provide proof that IRCC requested some documents and you are unsure if they received them. I sent the letter from IRCC requesting my PCC and also the tracking info from Canada Post still showing in transit. They sent me my GCMS notes within 24 hours and I could see a note from the visa officer saying: Police Certificates Received on 00/00/0000, application in queue for final review.

They typically make multiple attempts before returning your document, so be patient.

Spending $50 + vs $25 for a relatively comparable service is a matter of "choice". You have no right to tell people what to do!

This happened with me when I sent my PCC during my PR. I got a second request for the fingerprints and they were happily delivered.
One reason for them to be not delivered is that CIC receptionist may be gone for Lunch. Check the time when delivery attempted.
And have you looked at electronically sending the FP's to CIC.
When you do the FP they ask you for the request letter and you can advise them to send it directly to CIC and they get it in their system.
Depending on where you got your FP's from, you get two trials of FP,s (i.e, you can do it twice with the same receipt).

In conclusion, your options are vast and you need not frett over it. They will be delivered sooner or later. How do I know? Because many people before you have sent it, too.

LOL. I always had issues with canada post. Twice my items got lost in the post.. Moreover its not live trackable. Any how you keep using it if you are happy with that..Keep saving money lol..Its worth $20 ..isn't in an expensive country like canada

would you mind telling what issues you had with fedex and purolator...or you just supporting your shit canada post just to support your argument

Fedex is no 1 in Canda and so is purolator...they give you gurantee delivery time before 10.30am next day for extra charge..
stop your non sense just to support your shit postal system

once fedex delivered my package after 1030 am (i had paid for 1030 guaranteed) and I called them and asked for refund and they did that for me
