Pls I have some questions;
1) at personal history of imm5669, if I write "on leave" from work under activity, what do I put under it's column 6. Is it the name of the company where I work or not applicable?
(2) at Addresses (question 12) of Imm 5669, do I have to include all those times I went home to my parents on holidays in my address in order not to leave any time in gap?
(3) For the sections that are not applicable, do I need to fill in all the empty boxes as "N/A", or one "N/A" is enough in a box of the section?
I will be looking forward to having your kind response sir, thanking you in anticipation.
See my response on your other post. Hope that helps!

Did you receive in mycic account or via email? Can you post sample of that letter? They might have started something new. It means you can avail their prearrival services now using this letter. Are you inland and whats your nationality? This should indicate what this letter means.

Hi friends, please has anyone made use of a national identity document that has no expiry date and which was successful (I mean application not returned)? Also, what did you put down in the empty space for expiry date?

As a PNP Paper-based applicant with IELTS results of 9-9-9-7.5, Canadian education and Canadian work experience, I am appalled by your judgement.
We are inland applicants, so we are already paying taxes, which also finance fast-tracked EE process for people who haven't paid a dime in taxes yet.
I am truly sorry to learn that you were appalled; oh no, please don't be as I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings any further.

As I suspect you already know, you need to do more than get perfect IELTS scores to receive an ITA for EE. You were specific regarding only your IELTS score but not your Canadian education and work experience. Also, nothing was said about your age. The question then becomes, if you're qualified for EE, why did you choose to go through the hassles of a paper-based PNP like me? Or...are you really qualified for EE?

Supercanadian,

In this regard, I would just simply like to add to what MarsiaMS and vpkasbek have already mentioned above.
I'm not speaking about entitlement in any way. I'm speaking about providing equal and fair opportunity for both EE and paper-based applicants to get processed under the same procedural timeframe, or if necessary allow paper-based applicants to resubmit their documents electronically. Supercanadian, according to your words you suggest that the federal government divides its immigrants into first and second class categories, which is repellent at least. Why wouldn't then the federal government come with first and second class permanent residency rights and citizenships? Do you see where your line of logic is going to? By which standards or requirements did you conclude that EE candidates are superior to paper-based candidates?

So, again my point here is the following. Both paper-based, EE and all other existing streams are merit-based programs. I'm very sure that if any of these streams proved to be unimportant or inefficient, the Canadian government would have shut down them without hesitation. Thus, this is more of a bureaucratic issue, rather a matter of priorities. That is why I think it is important for all paper-based applicants to stand up and push the Canadian government to do something about the processing times. I believe 6 months and 17 months is quite a difference.

PS. By the way, I qualify for both EE and paper-based streams in case you wondered (IELTS 8.0, master's degree, NOC A)
I would be happy if you would kindly point me to the specific sentence(s) in my original response that made you write the following:

"Supercanadian, according to your words you suggest that the federal government divides its immigrants into first and second class categories, which is repellent at least. Why wouldn't then the federal government come with first and second class permanent residency rights and citizenships? Do you see where your line of logic is going to?"

Where exactly did I make comments regarding the division of PRs and citizens into first and second class or is your comprehension of the English language limited?

Again the question to you as to the other fellow on this thread is: if you qualify for EE, what are you doing here calling for protests and petitions to process your paper-based PNP application faster? Do you realize how you sound when you make claims about your educational qualification and language score and then state you qualify for EE which you very well know has a faster processing time but just didn't apply for it?

Hi everyone,

I applied through BC PNP and my timeline is:

Application received by cic: Apr 3rd, 2017
AOR letter: June 15th, 2017

But then no news after that! :( Is this normal? I see people received an email to pay for PR pre-approval fees within 3 month of AOR. It will be 6 month for me next week, but still nothing!

Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you.

This judgmental attitude does not help anybody. We are entirely within our rights to demand better treatment. CIC owes us fair and timely processing, considering the fees we pay. While getting PR status is a privilege and not a right, rules should apply fairly and consistently to everybody.
I lived in Canada long enough to know that change for the better does not happen unless people demand it. If anyone feels like they have not been treated fairly, they should go to their MP, hire a lawyer, file petitions, or anything else they can come up with. This is the only way to make the issue known and possibly addressed.
I am sorry you understood my earlier response to be "judgmental." I didn't intend it to be. I agree that rules should apply fairly and consistently to everybody - in fact, that's the point of our little back and forth here: rules. Rules. Laws. Regulations. What's the regulation regarding the application processing period for EE? Six months or less for at least 80% of applications. And for paper-based PNP applications? 16-17 months for at least 80% of applications. So, as someone who believes in the fair and consistent application of rules, why are you advocating for the exact opposite?

According to you, "If anyone feels like they have not been treated fairly, they should go to their MP, hire a lawyer, file petitions, or anything else they can come up with" I'd like to say "...or anything else they can come up with AS LONG AS IT IS LAWFUL." Everyone has the right to FEEL they have not been treated fairly. That however doesn't necessarily mean they have not indeed been treated fairly.

Going to your MP, getting a lawyer and/or filing petitions all sound like interesting and reasonable things to do (although they might cost some money/time), and I'll encourage anyone who has a legitimate case of unfair treatment to do any and all of those things.

One last thing, it's not just in Canada - change for the better doesn't happen anywhere unless people demand it. However, regurgitating popular quotes and maxims without thinking about how they apply to specific situations or how they advance the argument you're trying to make doesn't cut it.

Not sure what you mean. I am advocating justice and accountability.
Processing times have just been increased to 18 months. If you look through these forums, you will see that even this is an optimistic estimate of how long our applications will take. CIC has no deadlines and no obligation to us to process our applications in time. They are not held accountable for the unreasonable delays that many people are facing.
By the way, CIC's own service standard is to process paper-based PNP applications within 11 months. They admit that they are not meeting it, but face no consequences whatsoever. EE service standard is 6 months, and they meet it 80% of the time. The ETA applications, while being completely different, are processed within 2 minutes 80% of the time. Seems to me like the treatment for us and for some of the other application streams is very different within CIC.
I have a long history with CIC for both myself and my family. Some of my experience was positive, but some very negative. There are a lot of problems with immigration process that have to be fixed.
Also, this

regurgitating popular quotes and maxims without thinking about how they apply to specific situations or how they advance the argument you're trying to make doesn't cut it
sounds quite rude. Are you insinuating that I am not thinking? If you do not want to come across as judgmental, tone it down a notch.

Yes, now I am qualified (before I wasn't) and planning to apply through EE as well and have two parallel processes to see which one gets me PR quicker. Very 'efficient' allocation of CIC resources, don't you think? :)
