Hi,
I worked for one company and got promoted; therefore, the job positions are different from each other in the period of the total work time. In this case, do I have to put all the information separately?

Yes I think it's better to separate. At least that's what I've done and I was in the same situation. What CIC is interested in, is your job duties.

However, for the job letter, you can do all in one. Just make sure you mention both jobs separately, different job titles/duties/dates of employment/salary and benefits.
