I need help regarding to withdrawal of visa application

Hello everyone.
Is there anyone who can help me regarding to withdrawal of temporary residence visa. I have applied last month November 24th. But something really unexpected happened. Someone very dear me is in a critical condition. I need to travel very soon, does anyone know how do I retrieve my passport? I need to get it back as soon as possible.

Yes it is very easy to withdraw your passport and leave your TRV case under process. From which centre you applied the visa?

Write and CSE through cic website and request them for passport withdrawl with all the relevant details like passport number, application number, UCI number as well as courier tracking number. Make sure you will write the reason of withdrawl and also inform them to keep your application under process. Passport will be delivered in a week time.

I have sent my application through vfs canada in Tokyo because I live here in Japan. However they have sent my application and passport to vfs canada in Manila. I have contacted the embassy in Tokyo and they have told me to send an email directly to the embassy in Manila. I am very confused. How do I get my passport back, will they send me my passport directly to my address?

No, Firstly you need to write down CSE to VFS Manila with all the details mention above, once acknowledged you will get the passport at VFS TOKYO. You need to go personally there to receive it.
Dont worry and be calm with the proceedings. Leave your Visa case open for processing and send them the request to withdraw of passport.

Great job ,
i dont think it will take 28 days, you will get the reply within 2 weeks time. Just keep an eye on VFS tracking regarding your passport.
