CIC have timeline for 8 Business weeks to get open and give AOR otherwise its considered lost APP, After AOR & Inprocess status the proccess can take or is expected to finish in 8-10 months and call centre can not help unless it passess 12 months and u cannot pressure them before 12 months even if Immigration minister is your family member as its against the law to interefer the proccess before 12 months.

No, but I believe the In Process is NEVER by e-mail, only by ecas.

It looks like the pace of AORs has significantly slowed down. I have the feeling they had hired some help to get through the bulk of the October wave, and now we are back to normal. Just a guess.

I applied in May had my test on august 2017 but still no DM on my status i had a situation where at the interview the officer forgot to collect the pink paper which you sign before going in for the test.She called me and ask me to bring it to her.When i went to drop it to her my phone died and so i left it with the security officer on the front desk with the officer name on it and the security guy assured me it was okay and it will get to her,i than called her and she said she would pick it up from the security guy.After that i never heard from the officer nor does she reply my calls(called her once to check if the paper was received) and I'm wondering why i didnt have DM till today.does anyone has a situation as mine?any advice is appreciated plz. i will share my time line below and is there anyone close to my dates from scarborough office.

3. We started processing your application on June 29, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on July 24, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 24, 2017 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Good Day Folks, Here is my little story, I was up all night on the 10th when the c6 came into full effect, printed the forms completed the file and sent it first thing on the 11th of October through Canada post. The next day while reading posts through this forum and other people talking about the questions in the new form i realized that i have sent the old forms by mistake, I was heartbroken. It so happen that i had a copy of the old form in my computer and when i downloaded the new form and saved it as same file name, it did not override the old form and i continued with the old form and sent the file. After realizing my mistake i tracked the package it was in Halifax and was not delivered yet. I called Canada post to ask them to pull the package without delivering and send it back to me, on which the agent said that its not possible and all sent mails needs to be delivered. I accepted my fate and that i have to wait until the file is returned and reapply, but to my surprise i got an AOR on the 17th of November, and now the file is in progress as of 4th December. Hopefully i dont get any grief about old forms for the remaining process.

I will appreciate if anyone can add my timeline to the spreadsheet. Thank you. If any of you have any comments regarding my situation please feel free to discuss.
