In land spousal sponsorship

I hope someone’s can help me. I submitted my application to sponsor my spouse last October 24 and the courier said it was received. But I have yet to receive notice or any form of communication that it was acknowledged (received by CIC). What am I to do? The website talks about linking application numbers to check status. But I don’t even have that. All I have is the receipt for the payment I made for work permit and spousal sponsorship.

Monday morning you can call cic and ask about your application. They will tell you if it has been processed or if it is being returned.

It typically takes 6-8 weeks to receive a confirmation. So nothing unusual about your situation.
