Any outland applicant sent passport to CPC-OTTAWA-PR ?

Hi i am an outland applicant living in canada .. and cic emailed me saying i can submit my PP to ottwa instead of my local VO .. so i want to know what is the average time for ottawa-pr department to send the passport back ? i sent mine on nov 17 .

Ottawa is pretty backlogged, I think it's taking 2-3 weeks to get your passport back

Oh, good. our passport photocopy and pics and envelope was delivered by FedEx today in Ottawa. 22 hours after sent from Olympia, WA USA

In case anyone is wondering:
We opened a shipping account with FedEx and attached a credit card to have the ability to pay postage On Account.
With the Account:
We used International Priority which cost $43 to ship to Ottawa. Unsure at the moment what the cost is to send back. Will automatically be billed to our FedEx Account when that happens.
At the FedEx dropoff, we were able to electronically produce shipping labels for shipping to both Ottawa,, and for the return envelope.
We received 2 tracking numbers. one for each direction.

Hi Buddy,

It seems Ottawa is loaded with applications , so there might be a lil more Delay .. I called CIC and they told that there is a delay currently for Printing the Visa and passport Return .

Lets hope we receive it a little sooner

Did they say what the current processing time for this step is? Is 2-3 weeks the "normal" turnaround time? Before I saw this thread, I thought it might be as much as 6 weeks anyway.
I have a tracking number for my return envelope so I'll have an idea when it's on its way back.

They Said.. SLA is 4 weeks but since Ottawa is having a lot of load so might get delayed as well

Ottawa received my passport on November 14th and was returned with COPR on December 1st.
