hi,
what diffrence between Not applicable and In Process?
Not applicable means that at this time it is not applicable and in process means that they are processing the application and possibly the background check if it says it is in progress

My husband just received his AOR... woohoo!!! We were able to link right away to his account. Here is what it says in the update in his account:

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Review of medical results If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you.
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

DOES THIS MEAN there will be NO background check? We sent in the Schedule A with his original application along with the US FBI Original Certified Background Check. He did have 3 DUIs 17 years ago but we explained that he went thru rehab here back then and has stopped drinking since - family man, etc... Could this be that they accepted that as Rehabbed and need no further BC check? I would love to know because we were super worried about that...

When was your file recieved??

Hello guys, our application was received on october 18. My wife just receive our uci and application number. I’am the sponsor is it okay to link the application to my account? Or does it need to be the Principal Applicant’s account?

You can link your app if U had a ap number and Applicant's information

It doesn’t matter who ever signed in as long as i enter her information is that right?

that is correct. i am sponsor and i have used applicant info to create my gckey account with my own email address

How do you guys upload a document in your account?
Is it okay to upload Schedule-A-Background first before the police clearance?
and do you need to send them a printed copy of Schedule-A-Backgroud via mail too?
so many questions sorry :(

Hello everyone, I am Japanese origin who just became a US citizen last week. Well, this might be an issue - changing nationality after sending out application? I will find out.
My Canadian husband is sponsoring me and we are planning to moving back to Canada soon. Application received on October 19.
Just received AOR1 this morning!

Somewhere in my file, down there there is a button to view and there two buttons to upload PCC and Schedule A and due date.

is it like when you click on the blue button that says "check status and messages"? then it gives you the details about background check, review eligibility, etc and then at the bottom you have "application messages" is that where you see it?

also did you or PA/Sponsor get separate email to upload PCC and sched A?

Yes, login with my GCKey, go to "check status and messages", click on "View submitted application" button and there under "Supporting Documents" section there are two items under "Upload file"- PCC and Schedule A.

I am a Sponsor and Representative at the same time, all I got is one email ( to Sponsor/Representative), my spouse (PA) does not get any email yet.
I was able to login with my (Sponsor) GCKey and link the application using Application Number and PA Last Name following Google's spreadsheet sample.
