I am a oct 25 th applicant for trv applied on paper from Chandigarh. Next day I got a message that my application is being processed .....and till now it is still the same. My problem is that the funtion i am going to attend in canada is on 4 th of dec. Please advice what to do?

Sir, You need to wait as your application is in background check and it may take upto 3 months or may be more then that. It will be ideal if you make online account on CIC website so you will be aware of your application status.
Today I got a sad mail from delhi that my application is refused due to economic condition s and travel history. But i have more then 1cr in my account and I have 3 passports full with visas and stamps as i am in merchant navy. I don't know why they given this reason. Any way thanks @Omair and @Bryanna for your replys. Is it ok to re apply?
Sorry to know you were refused. You can reapply anytime after you address the previous refusal reasons.
If you need help for reapplying then you may want to post more details:
1. What was the purpose of your visit and for how long?
2. Do you have a Canadian host (relative or friend)?
3. Was any of the money in your bank account transferred/deposited recently?
4. What documents did you submit?
1 .I am commercial diver working in oil fields and I was going to do a course related to my profession
2.yes, I have friends but i booked a hotel for my visit and copy of booking was attached.
3.my bank account is old and its never gone below 50 lacs from last 4 years
4. I submitted my banks details my property documents worth 3 cr, my last 3 contracts as a commercial diver. My IT returns which does not show my income in dollers and my diving certs which i got it from uk and france, few of my recent passport visas and stamps, and few of my diving logs
Grounds for refusal:
· Given economic conditions, employment prospects, considering your travel history, economic establishment and family ties, I am not satisfied that you would respect the terms of your admission as a temporary resident in Canada

How long is this course?
How would it help you considering you are already employed as a commercial diver? Does it cover some areas of study that you do not have skills for?
What documents did you submit for it?
And why did you select Canada for it?
1 course is of 2weeks
2 this is a Diver medic course. I will be preferred among diver to get jobs more easily as the divers are never empoleyed the they are on 60 to 90 days contracts As they are very highly paid per day basis . Diver medic is an extra skill of first aid that can v helpful to buddy divers in case of incident when the doctor is not avaliable. International marine association had made it mandatory for all diving companys to hire half of the diver with diver medic course.

4.As I was off from the job and next course available was in kelowna canada thats why i consider canada. As i never been in canada before so to visit an another country.
