Hello all,

I am a CEC inland applicant with AOR on March 3, 2017 AOR. I have been waiting for almost 9 months and got tired of it. So, I am planning for a vacation. What are the things should I inform CIC if I leave Canada. In addition, should I get new PCC and medicals? Thanks..

You don't need to do anything, CIC doesn't care about your trips after eApr submission. You may only need to change your address if it is a really long trip or if you want to submit your passport to a visa office in another country. No, you will not need new PCC or medical due to your vacation. Good luck!

Hi you don't have to inform them and you are free to travel. The only headache is once you do your landing (post COPR step) and waiting for your PR card which makes ravel troublesome.

My wife will stay longer, may be 4 months. What if she wants to submit her passport in an country? Should I inform CIC?

You can change your address anytime before or after the PPR. So, you can wait until you receive the PPR and then ask to submit her passport in a different country. Good Luck!

I applied Bridging visa and waiting for it.
I am in the same situation as you I think.

My work visa expired on October 27th
- I have applied for a BOWP
- I am currently on implied status

If you leave before your bridging visa is granted, you will lose your implied status and not be able to work when you go back to Canada.

They could also reject your PR and/or Bridging Visa as you left the country
