Hello,

I have shown spouse's work experience(outside Canada) in my EE profile. Now i got ITA and in document check list i need to submit all document related to it. i check some threads and people says just add in personal history.

What if i add all documents related to spouse's experience? Will CIC also perform background check for spouse's experience? or they simply ignore as it does not carry any points.

random back ground check may be possible. For me and those i know did not had any back ground check for primary and secondary applicants.
Also, if you have mentioned your spouse work experience, its better to submit necessary proof to avoid a delay and query later.

In my spouse case, we requested for her company to provide the required details of who she was working for 6-7 years . For the rest since it will be difficult to get in touch with her preivous employers, we have no choice but to provide a simple certificate (usually when she resigned with the company). So far we have not been asked about it after we received our AOR since Oct 2017

Since it is not contributing to points, it is better to move this personal history and explain in LOE. Even if you add the documents, they won't verify something that is not contributing to points. But it is better avoided if you are not very confident on having a background check.

I have all necessary documents and i have no problem with background check. I just wanted to expedite the process by eliminating unnecessary documents, their verification and background check.
