In the presence calculator you should list your time in India as an absence; India is the "destination" and any other countries visited before you came to Canada, but during the five year eligibility period, you just list the name of the countries visited in the space for describing reasons for the absence. No need for specific dates, since the dates covering the time in India cover the whole absence. Yeah, this seems a bit odd, and perhaps in the near future IRCC will modify how this works for pre-PR time, but for now the instructions state to declare that period as an absence even if it is prior to your first trip to Canada.
Item 10.a is for RESIDENTIAL not temporary addresses.
Hi everyone, I need help from those who have applied.
Question No. 5
I had changed my last name to my husband's first name on one document in my home country but then before that process would have been completed we had separated, therefore I did not change my last name anywhere else. After divorce I had changed my last name to my maiden name again in home country on that one document where I had changed it. Should I check legal name change as YES?
Question 9c
Another question as well please; during my eligibility period I had visited back home on work permit for 16 days, do I count it as residing outside Canada. Should I check Yes or No?
Question 14 Table A
Do I need to give document numbers for my study/work permits as well? or only my visa document numbers and passport number?
How does the eCas number work? Do I have to login in cic website?
Thank you
Hello all
pls advise
I have IELTS trf photocopies for me and my wife. not notarized.
Originals submitted at the time of application of PR.
Will those work?
It seems most of the returned apps that I have seen on this forum are for minors. Several adult applicants reported getting AOR despite submitting just the PR card as ID.I used my PR card as my form of identification (I added a second photocopy in addition to my travel documents). I read on another forum that someone's application was returned because that is also counted as a "travel document". Do I expect my form to be returned? Or will they accept that?
Thanks for your help. Crossing my fingers that I get an AOR.It seems most of the returned apps that I have seen on this forum are for minors. Several adult applicants reported getting AOR despite submitting just the PR card as ID.
