If it's you + spouse + 3 kids + 2 parents being sponsored, your family size is 7. It doesn't matter if parents are living in Canada or elsewhere, they are always included in your family size.Iam a mother of 3, ages 5, 3 and 2. I have my parents here for 4 yrs. now as super visa. I am a only daughter and want to sponsor my parents this 2018. My concerns are the ff:
* im a bit confused on how to count our household members because my parents are here in Canada lives with us. We are 7 total in the house.
*is the total minimum income refers to line 150 in NOA for 3 consecutive years?
* can my parents extend/renew their Super Visa inside Canada?
Hope someone can give me clarifications on these.
It's a big help.
This means you and your spouse (assuming he will be a co-signer) need to have tax returns totaling approx $81-$83K combined, for past 3 years. This may be going back to 2014 or 2015, depending what the rules will be for 2018 sponsorship.
Only if you meet the income requirements, can you then put in a lottery submission in January 2018.
Yes you can apply to extend their supervisa while in Canada. See here, under "Extend your stay": http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp
