Good afternoon, everyone!
Has anybody arranged an appointment at CIC office in London, Ontario recently? I called CIC and asked for an appointment, but it would be great to figure out how long does it take to hear back from them in real cases.
Thank you!

Well, not sure what you are referring to. In my understanding all landing formalities are done at point of entry.

I am landing in March, so interested to follow this thread anyway.
Yes, that's true if you are coming to Canada. But if you receive a PR status being inside Canada (for example, as a student), you have a choice: to go to border or make an appointment in local CIC office to "land" inside Canada...

I filled out the case-specific web form on IRCC website and requested an appointment for landing. Three weeks later they replied, saying that they had forwarded my request to the London's office. Now I am waiting to hear from London. Anybody know if they normally contact by email or what and how long the wait is? Thanks.

I posted in the Feb AOR thread however people may want to know my recent process for booking in a landing for Etobicoke.

I ended up getting my CoPR on Monday around 3pm and called IRCC to see how long it would take to get a landing in Etobicoke.

It took a while to figure out how to get through the voice system but I found if you went to the options to ask about a status update on your application and you put in all your application details it will tell you "Congratulations, you have been approved" or something along those lines and then it ends with press 0 to talk to an operator.

It put me in a queue but it was only 25 minutes long so I wonder if they bump you forward if you have a successful application or maybe I was just lucky?

Either way the man on the phone was friendly and sent a message to the Etobicoke office for me, he told me that it could take up to two weeks for them to reply with a booking date. I however got an email yesterday after three days with a confirmed landing date of July 10th.

So overall only two weeks from CoPR to getting a landing at the Etobicoke IRCC office.

I got my appointment date from London office - that is three weeks after IRCC's reply to my web form request. The appointment is for next week. So if I land successfully, it will have taken seven weeks from my PPR to get landed.

They have asked for another pair of photos and proof of income. Will these things be really necessary again?!
