Our ecas status still shows 'Medical results have been received' since Sep 22, 2017. Is it common for the application to show no movement at this stage for 2 months? The only other communication we have received stated 'your application will be processed in Mississauga'.

Ours is the same. From what I’ve read in this forum, it’s normal.

Hey there you are not alone .
I am also in the same situation. My file was transferred to my VO on September 21 since then I haven't any contact from them only my ecas says we start processing your application on September 27.
So let's hope for something good soon.

I am way behind all of you, My Ecas status changed to In Process couple of days ago. My First AOR1 arrived two months after application received to CPC on 24 july. since then i am one month behind

The Ecas changed to in Process when i submitted documents of Marriage contract, Police Clearances and Schedule A. and Also Photographs of wedding

Why don't you submit marriage certificate and wedding photos upfront with your application.

They were submitted with application,
They asked for PCC, Medical, and Schedule A. Along with these documents they also asked for more pictures of weddings.

The case is now in normal speed, but in the beginning it took two months for AOR1 to arrive. That one month is the actual lag in my process.

Very normal. It's common to go months on end and hear nothing, we heard nothing for 5.

Just a note so that you don't worry: applicants being processed in Mississauga never get the line on ECAS about their application being processed. It will go straight to DM whenever you get it.

It’s been almost 7 months and our ecas Status has not changed at all.

They said that according to new Policy, they will finalize the Application in 12 Months. But i dont know if the 12 month period will start from the Date of AOR1 or it will start from the Date of receiving the Application.

But they strongly said that they will try to finish all cases with in 12 months of time

All processing times stated by CIC start from the date the application was received.

No, I’m April applicant. Just letting the commenter know that it is normal for status not to change for months
