Hello,

I am here to find out the possible options for immigration to Canada. My application is already in the Express Entry Pool. I am not sure what are my chances with 422 score. I work in a development sector and have three years of experience. My overall ielts score in first attempt was 7.5 (reading 8, listening 8, writing 6.5, speaking 7). I tried again for .5 marks in writing and this time my overall score is 7 (reading 5, listening 7.5, writing 6, speaking 7). Well, situation is complicated now. I have done MPhil in Development Studies from Pakistan and my brother has permanent residence in Canada. I have heard the it usually takes more time on PNP and I don't want to spend a lot of time on the process. Being a girl there is a lot of pressure on me. Now I am thinking to search other options as well. I am uncertain at the moment. May be someone can guide me how can i expand my options.

Your score would be extremely competitive if you actually had CLB 9 in all IETLS sections, right now you're shooting yourself in the leg by not achieving this.

If you truly don't want to spend a lot of time with the PR process then you should retake the test.

You're applying for permanent residency with a country. It's going to take some time, effort and patience. If you're not willing to put forth the time and effort it requires, perhaps you should rethink immigrating?

Re-take the IELTS and improve on your CRS score. Immigration requires you to put in time and effort, no one was handed it over on a plate. Hope you understand what I mean. Good luck.

but what about family class sponsorship?

Is it possible to get work permit while you are on visit visa? Re-taking ielts seems like an only option right now.
