Can sponsor change job and province during sponsorship application?

The sponsor can change job, also the province.

BUT can not move to QUEBEC, once the sponsor moves to quebec, then PA's file has to be placed on hold and the sponsor has to get a CSQ from Quebec Govt which has to be then submitted to PA's file.

Yet there is a way that you can still move to quebec, the simple way is that PA has to land anywhere else then travel to Quebec. but the address for PR card has to be out of quebec either way.

I just checked my ecas today it says “in process” im guessing Background Check hasnt started yet.

I am 27 july applicant, Finally after sending them an inquiry they started processing application on 23 November... happy to see some movement....

Hello
I have applied visitor visa for my husband in september and we got visa in november 3 which is valid till 2021
And our file is also in process since may.
So there is no harm in applying and i am sure it wont affect your file
Good luck

Visitor visa gets approved all the time, a lot of it depends on how you prepare your application. I was advised by folks on some forums not to apply for the visitor visa but i still did and put in supporting documents to prove her tie to India, finances to support herself, an undertaking from myself, medical insurance, return file ticket etc and managed to get the TRV for my spouse (then Fiance).

The sentiment in the forum seems to be against applying for the TRV but IMHO a lot of it depends on how you prepare your case and of course it varies from situation to situation (whether your spouse is working or not etc.)
