Of course, you should just write an explanation letter if it's really difficult to get one.
I was working in another EU country on and off for short contracts (being a Brit, this is very easy to do)

No, it is not possible to change your visa office. However, there is no such thing as a "passport call" for outland applicants. You do not have to physically show up anywhere unless you are called in for a relationship interview. If you plan to be in Canada when you receive your COPR, you will just need to update your address on file with CIC so that they know where to mail it.

Thanks for responding. but i have an other question while im in canada if i receive a COPR and if i update my indian address to canadian address will they still mail it to canada?

That means your application has been received by your local visa office and they opened it! They will start working it

It means if we will be lucky and will not stuck in an infinite loop and everything goes in time, we may get DM in a month. It is just a beautiful prediction by me.. It may be true... hahaha

Our ecas status still shows 'Medical results have been received' since Sep 22, 2017. Is it common for the application to show no movement at this stage for 2 months? The only other communication we have received stated 'your application will be processed in Mississauga'.
