the meaning is "Confirmation of Permanent Residence". Is the document that you need to bring when you land in Canada, or for those that are already in Canada as temporary resident (like myself) need to bring to the interview at a visa office.

I don't know the normal procedure. But I had to sent a pre-paid envelope to CPC-Ottawa so they could send me back the CoPR. My situation is that I have applied as family sponsorship, living outside Canada, but my process stayed in Canada (currently I am in Canada - temporary resident). For those that have the process outside of Canada I don't know the details of the procedure.

hi so u applied outland while being in canada right ? i am guessing you sent your passport to Ottawa .. if yes may i know how long it took for you to get it back ? and did u get the COPR and passport back together ? also when did your mycic changed .. coz my ecas saying decision made but mycic says still in process and i got PPr also ..so i don't know what's happening

well I applied Outland because I was living and working outside of Canada. At some point I have moved to Canada as temporary resident. As an Outland, my process should have gone to France but instead it stayed in Canada, Mississauga/Ottawa office. By the time I got the PPR I already had changed my address to Canada, and therefore I was only requested to send passport photocopies together with two photos, to Ottawa office. About three weeks later I received the CoPR and since I am in Canada, I will have an interview in an office in Toronto (I guess similar interview as when you land and you have to deliver the CoPR to the immigration officer).

Our medical has expired on 23 Nov. The status on mycic changed to:
Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Did anyone have it before? Are we too far in the process or too close to decision? We are still at the review of eligibility:

Received PPR from CIC this morning. It's a lot quicker than I thought

HI i also got ppr on the same day as u .. can u plz share when u get ur tracking number active or get the passport back please .. i am assuming u sent the PP to Cpc-Ottawa-PR right ?
