Any updates for anyone on this thread? Aug and Sep' 16 applicants have just now received their MRs so we should be looking at another 2-3 months it seems.

November 17 app online status changed to:
REVIEW OF ADD DOCS: We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you message for more details.
BACKGROUND CHECK: Not applicable.

So far will be waiting for that message with more details. I don't know what it is. January 9, 2017 applicant here.

October 4 uploaded RPRF, status changed:
REVIEW OF ADD DOCS: We do not need additional documents.
BACKGROUND CHECK: Not applicable.

November 17 app online status changed to:
REVIEW OF ADD DOCS: We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you message for more details.
BACKGROUND CHECK: Not applicable.

So far will be waiting for that message with more details. I don't know what it is. January 9, 2017 applicant here.

I had this status for past several months now and the ony correspondence I've had was the updated Sch A request and even though this requirement is fullfilled, it is stuck on this status. I suspect we are all due for MR and in time, it will change to no additional docs required after we've received MR.

Send my application again as it was returned as incomplete at first, otherwise i would have finished 6months in this december. How long its taking right now to get medical?

Guys, as promised, I am sharing my gcms status received last week. My file location is PNP-Meds-Not-Started (PNP-Eval before) with below status.

As of 10/10/2017,

Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Medicals: Not Started
Security: Not Started

There are detailed comments from processing agent who reviewed my eligibility and criminality and added notes to Visa officer.

Its already been a month and havent received any further communication or updates of any sort. I have seen people getting MR in weeks to several months from the time there application is assigned to PNP-Meds-Not-Started location (queue).

If any of you have sought gcms notes, please share as it helps others.

Hello Skaler1641, so you have got no update after AOR this March? This is strange because usually people will receive an update after 3-4 months from AOR

Hi Skaler1641, thanks for your reply. Yeah what I mean by update includes such things as reminder email. People say usually one will get the first update in the form of a reminder email by 3-4 months after AOR, but I have not after 4.5 month...

Guys,

I wanted to gather everyones thought on going about upfront medical. Is anyone considering doing your medicals upfront? I approached a local DMP and they indicated they offer upfront exams and are able to create UMI without official invite from CIC..seem to know what they are doing. I have seen several past threads/post, nothing but mixed feedback and cannot decide if it would cause any issues with cic. I dont know how much more time we are looking at for medicals since 11 months have passed already and no sign of medical so thinking about going for upfront if thats an options. At least will be done with my share of application and just wait for ppr. I welcome everyones views.
