Thanks to everyone to answered, he went to the interview without issue. Won't be getting his passport back until January. They recommended DHL as well. I am not sure why he can't pick it up. He is just in Mandeville. He is trying to get a price on the DHL and re-take his photos.

I wonder when kvo will open in January after holidays? Airflights should be cheaper then. I also wonder how they will distribute the passports. I doubt it all at once or based on when the app received? What do you all think?

They should be open on Jan 2 as that's when all business resume operations in Jamaica and there is no holiday in Canada or Jamaica on that date. I think they will be distributing the passport based on app approval date. Hopefully, they can take at least two weeks and send out all the outstanding visas that were approved.
