I need help clarifying info regarding Q 13, 14 and 15 in the Citizenship application

Q13 - Tell us if you have had immigration, permanent resident status and/or citizenship in any other country outside of Canada, including your country of birth.
  • Check either yes or no.
  • If you check yes, complete the chart in question 13.
  • Tell us which countries you have held status in, and exactly what status you held or currently hold (student, employment/worker, refugee/protected person, permanent resident or citizen).
  • Provide the month and year (MM/YY) that you obtained each status.
  • If your status is no longer valid, provide the month and year (MM/YY) your status ended. If you still hold this status, indicate “current”.
The answer is yes - I was born there but i did not obtained any travel document or passport until when we are coming to Canada. The Passport was issued to me in November 2000 and it expired 2005. I have renewed my passport multiple times since then. My question here is the date obtained; should that be the date that i was born there as a citizen of that country or the date the passport was issued to me?

Q14 - Tell us if you have held passports or travel documents during your “eligibility period”.
  1. Check either yes or no.
    • If you check yes, complete the chart labeled Table A in question 14 by including
      1. the document number
      2. the name of the country that issued the document (issuing authority)
      3. the place (city or town) the document was issued
      4. the date the document was issued
      5. the expiry date of the document
Question 14 - Yes, they issued me the new ECOWAS passport in 2013, different passport number from the initial one that i first got. My eligibility period is from November 2012 to Nov 2017. I have to include both passport number in it right? I only need to include the renewal section that covers my eligibility period right?

Q15 - Language Requirement

I did my IELST in 2010. I can still use it right?

Question 13:
List all the immigration or citizenship status you have from birth to date. One very obvious one would be your citizenship of your home country.
Write the date it was issued to you and if it is expired write the date. If it is still valid write "Current". For your case since you are still a citizen of your home country write the date it was first issued which would be your birth year and month. YYYY-MM. and then Current in the next box.

Question 14: Write the document # of your travel document that fall within the elgibility period and since you said that you have multiple ones list them all that were issued to you valid or expired from November 2012 to November 2017.

Question 15:
As long as your score is eqivulaent to CLB 4 in speaking, CLB 4.5 in listening and/or higher you will be fine.

Hope this helps.
