I have call them last Thursday and they said same thing to me and I am waiting for PPR email my application was approved on 15/11 and waiting for PPR REQUEST !!!! Dose agent told you it will take a week ?

Called IRCC Today and Agent told me that everything has been completed and that my application has been Approved! He said the only step that is left is to receive correspondence from IRCC to submit my passport information which will be in the next few weeks and congratulations!

I truly hope I'll get PPR sooner but I am still just thankful to know that my application has been approved. God is good! All the best to everyone that is still waiting, anytime now.

BGC: "We are processing your background check" also September 8th

My representative said that there was an update to my profile on Friday Nov 17th but when she opened it there were no messages or any changes. But after I spoke to the CIC agent yesterday and he told me all was passed and application approved I called back to listen to the automated option and my review of additional documents had changed to: "the additional documents you provided have been received" which is WEIRD! because they did not request any additional documents, but whats new.

Before the review documents status changed I had no prior updates since the September 8th update...

Last update on Friday, additional documents went from "reviewing" to "we don't need any additional documents".

The waiting has been so long since most of AOR Aug have received their PPR (

Seems we are stuck in different stages, although it's not yet 6 months. Still feels bad when I see ppl from later months are getting PPR.

Some June applicant just called CIC and told by the agent that they have decided to add another 4 months to all CEC applicant due to high volume of applications, which is ridiculous that they process Sep and Oct applications so fast and FSW got ppr within a month, where our applications got stuck here.

Oh ok will do... he enquired from another officer while I was on the phone and he said based on the notes I should get it in a few weeks and that I should get it before Christmas so I should keep checking emails. Although I have noticed on Immi-tracker that No CEC's have been getting any PPRs for a while now. It's strictly been FSWs and PNPs.
