It's a scam.

Unless you hold a US green card, you do not qualify for an ETA. The web site you're checking through is fake.

Getting eTA is a formality, you apply on line pay $7 and you have it so it is possible it was approved. It's needed to enter Canada only, doesn't give you any rights once you're there. Do not confuse it with ITA.
But is you are from India you need visa to enter Canada, not eTA.
