I think if the SS could be done in half year, they will PPR you directly. Otherwise, upon the completion of SS, they will ask you and me do medical then PPR us.
Just got my freshly generated ATIP note.
Nothing changed since Aug, where the last update was given by EAIEMED, changed my med status to "Medical : Passed - Expired"
File location is still PS-SEC-PEND
2015 Nov Applicant, did upfront ME in Aug 2016. Nothing happen then, SS for my spouse is still in process, my SS is not started.
In Aug 2017, my med expired, nobody contacted me since then and they didn't send my file for med extension either.
Looks like they are keep waiting for the SS results.
Hope I can get PPR before it reaches 36 months. Otherwise I think I will hire a lawyer, an expensive one.

And it is 100% same with the one I got in Aug, which means 90 days with 0 progress.
But tbh, every people needs to suffer from something during entire life. Endless waiting could drive me crazy in the past but now I am more habitual to it. Thanks CIC.
Like what Vajra Sutra said, a wisdom human should give up his/her obsession, then he/she will find peace in mind.
To realistic side, CIC as a part of federal government, certainly has a lot more to be improved. they should be more transparent, responsible. Hope in someday, some justicial reporters can peel off glamorous “EE + Refugee” surface of CIC, and expose what we legal applicants and tax payers have suffered to the public. Then they will have momentum to correct the wrong part what is currently happening within CIC.

You are right. Me and my wife only spent one month together after being married for two years!! We dint even spend our first annv together!! We kept waiting and waiting now our second annv is coming and we are planning to go on a honeymoon this way atleast we wil spend some meaningful time together which our marriage needs.we have been separated too long. This pr is screwing our marriage and life now. When will this wait end god knows! But we cannot stop ourselves from living.we have left everything on god now because we tried everything.
Yeah. I think it has to be super delayed something. Meanwhile, we will need plan ahead and start saving or making some money for this.
It happened to my account two weeks ago. Nothing happend after since. I think it is a system bug. And when Background check is done, they might send MR to us or PPR us directly.
Same here, it changed like this couple of weeks ago but no email has been received after since.
