Hi!

I'm a Sept 18th Applicant and had received my AOR 1 on 27th Oct and a medical request on 3rd Nov. Since the medical has been cleared, we haven't heard from CIC ever since. I haven't been able to link my application online and have gone through a legal rep. Is anyone else going through the same situation? Or does anybody have an idea as to what to expect next?

Im also using a lawyer so cannot link. I did get some info from the automated info line. # 1-888-242-2200 You just need the pa application # and date of birth. Thats the only way i noticed any movement in our app after it was sent to the vo.

For us it took eight days from: medical exam -> doctor sending to lawyer -> laywer sending to cic-> visa office in paris reviewing and approving results.

I have a question guys. When the cic asks for your passport, do they send it back to the adrress from which you send(any address other than mailing address) it or do they send it to your mailing address that you have provided in the first place?

Guys, I need some help here.

My AOR 1 is within the normal time frame, and I am still waiting for SA.
I saw a lot ppl got their SA either in the same day they got AOR1 or within a week, and I have waited about a month for SA, and still there is no signs that I will get it.

Please let me know if the waiting period of my SA is still within the normal time frame?

8 to 9 weeks, they don't process in a linear way

it took the CIC for pass my medical within 5 days

Yes thats true. I think mine actually went straight from the doctor to cic. Via e-medical.

I think so bcz, They have E medical system too. Do u have any idea we will notice right-way when cic received the result of medical exam or we have to wait little-bite?

So far the medical results receipt by cic and approval is fairly prompt. Id count on waiting a week if the trend continues.

Finally I can see now, it’s says you passed the medical exam
