hello, guys I got the request for the passport, does anyone know where to go in Lahore to submit it ?

Yes you have to go to SIDDIQUE TRADE CENTER on main boulevard opposite to gulberg galleria i hope you know where it is.
The Canadian visa office is on 2nd floor if i am not wrong. But its at the back enterance of siddique trade center where you take the car out of parking. Just ask anyone for office floors. Go there with required documents and they will guide you.

Did your application went in background checks or was it straight decision made. I mean in terms of updating mycic. Did you check when did ur app went in BGC

i think he said he has a lawyer so he wudnt know about bgc status or have access to my cic ..

Need some information. If the wife is sponsoring her husband, Is she has to be physically present in Canada to apply?

My friend, she is Canadian, After the wedding, she's planning to move to Dubai with her husband for some time until her husband get the PR.
Her concern, can she sponsor her from outside Canada or she has to be physically present in Canada

Canadian citizens (not PR) can reside outside of Canada while spousal sponsorship application is in progress
However they need to submit proof og intent to return to Canada with their application. lots of info on this topic is on this forum. Just search.

yes I had a lawyer so I am not sure about the background check I just knew about when it went into processing when it went to London and then the decision made.

Guys, it is mentioned in our notes that the jewelry receipt we submitted was dated 9th April 2016 with my husband's name from Pakistan. While my husband was not in Pakistan until 15th April. The whole pre-wedding arrangements were done by his family on his behalf. The buying of wedding dresses, jewelry and everything. Now since the VO mentioned it in our notes as a concern, what is the best possible way to satisfy them that it was bought by his mother on his behalf??? Suggestions please. I have my interview next month.

Also, VO mentioned that the pictures was submitted did not appear affectionate to them. Though in the immediate next notes about our voluntary additional documents VO mentioned that we looked little more relaxed. I retrieved the pictures I submitted before and I noticed my husband looked a little tired in them. I didn't notice this before else I wouldn't submit these. I was trying to submit every available picture I had of every place we visited. Now my question is, If VO asked why your husband is expressionless/ or not smiling in this picture, how are we suppose to tackle this question?

Hi. I checked ecas yesterday and it showed decision made. They asked for additional docs in sep that we had submitted in oct, since mine is nikah only case but they didn't ask for any interview..BGC was in process too.. Just curious what the decision will be and how do they inform about the decision like through email or will they mail the letter to my address??? And how long do they take to inform? Can anyone answer please?
