My application was approved on 31st oct and i got the TRV 9th Nov. it processed by Bangalore Visa office.
ok i am in the same boat then. I sent them an enquiry regarding LOI and this is what they replied :

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Consulate General of Canada in Bengaluru.

The Port of Entry introduction letter is not required for you to travel to Canada. The information about your permit is in our global computer system and can be accessed by immigration officials in Canada. Please proceed to travel to Canada within the validity of the visa placed in your passport, your permit will be issued upon your arrival in Canada.

So after this i have booked my tickets and will see at the airport. Can i know where are you travelling and when?

You can use web enquiry form and enter your application details or send it to BAGLR-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca

Also did you check your myCiC account? what status does it show over there?
My lawyer applied for me, so i don't have access to the account. Do mind telling me when did you send the mail and when did they replied back.
Also, if you enquired through webform how much time did they take to revert back.

thanks

They typically reply in 2 days mostly if you send the enquiry through webform. I received reply in 2days and i mailed them twice and they replied the same answer. Please ask them this question and see what they have to say and please revert on this thread as well.

I sent an email to the visa office and i got the same reply from them as you got. I am not sure if the email is good enough to show at the airport when the officer ask for it. Do you mind telling me when you are travelling to Canada.

i am travelling on 16th december and now even my lawyer says that they will prepare POE package and sometimes you might not get the letter but your application is approved in the system. Because i enquired on IRV call center in canada and checked my status on phone that also said your application has been approved . So i think it should not be a worry.

Also i think they have the same generic answers for everyone or it might be an auto reply.
