Hi,
I wanted to know if a person has experience in two or more NOC field then the points/score for work experience will be calculated based on total work ex. or the work ex belonging to recent NOC field?

Thanks.

For CRS purposes you can use several skilled NOC's to claim points.

If you are a FSW applicant you must still have at least a year of full-time work experience in your Primary NOC.

Thanks for the reply.
So, if I have 1 year of experience as Finance and investment analyst NOC 1112 and 3 years as Software engineer NOC 2011. I will score only 9 points under FSW if NOC 1112 is my primary experience.
Am I correct?

I have a follow up question.

My one year experience in NOC 1112 includes few months of part time experience (20hr/week). So, will this not be counted?
And I also read that FSW calculates one year based on 30hr per week. Is this true? If yes then If I work 40hr per week, then 10 months should be 1 year according to FSW. Am I missing something.

Thanks.

As long as it is continuous you can also use part-time work experience.

Regarding your other question you cannot claim more than 30 hrs per week so even if you work 40 hrs you must still work for a period of one year to claim a year of work experience.
