Applying for Inland Immigration, lots of questions!

Hello! My Spouse and I have been planning to apply for inland immigration since the work permit would be a great asset to us, but now we're kind of doubting whether we would qualify or not. So we have a lot of questions we would love to get clarified if possible.

I am sponsoring my spouse, who is from the US.

I was told that since we're applying inland, our forms have to show we are living together. She is only here as a visitor at the moment, but we're hoping to turn that into an indefinite stay when we apply for inland.

IMM 0008
Question 10 asks for her current country of residence, would that be Canada or the US?

If I mark Canada, do I put her down as a visitor?

She arrived on October 26th and told border patrol she'd be here for 3months, so for the dates would we put 2017-10-26 to 2018-1-26?

Under the Contact Information would we put my address, as she is staying with me?

IMM 5406
Would she also write her address as the same as mine here?

This form states that her spouse needs to fill out one of these forms as well, so would I also fill out a form even though I'm her sponsor?

IMM 5532
Question 3 asks if we live together, which we marked down as yes. It asks how long we've been cohabiting, would we include every visit we've had since our time together?

Question 4 asks if we're not living together, have we visited each other anytime during our relationship and to give details. I assume this is left blank because we said yes to Question 3?

Question 11 asks if there is more information we'd like to share to support our relationship. Should we fill anything out? Would it look bad if we didn't? We can definitely write something there but I'm not sure what exactly it's asking for here.

Supporting Documents for Principal Applicant
It asks to provide proof of status in Canada if the Principal Applicant is living in Canada. I'm not sure if we have any of these documents? She is here as a visitor and the US doesnt require any sort of visa to get over the border, just their passport. What would we do about this question?

Another question also states that if she resides in a country different from her nationality, to include a copy of a visa or a residency permit for that country, again which we don't have since she hasnt immigrated yet? This really confuses us, as we're not sure if we'll qualify for inland.

Police Certificate
Where can we get her Police Certificate from?

Proof of Relationship to Sponsor
We marked we are currently living together, but we don't have of these documents that they want, we were under the impression she couldn't be part of my lease or any of my bills since she isn't a Permanent Resident yet.

Would we be better off writing a letter explaining why she isn't on any of these, or we're not sure what we can do since she's only here as a visitor at the moment.

Sorry for the long post, we've been working tireless to get these forms done and everything together and it's led to a lot of confusion. Thank you to anyone who helps!

This will answer a lot of your questions: in order to apply inland, your spouse must be living with you in Canada. So any question at all asking about her address, her residence, where she's living, should absolutely 100% always be the same as your address.

Thank you again for extra clarification! It really makes me feel at ease when filling out the forms.

Would we check any box for Question 4, or just leave it blank and put N/A into the chat box?

You don't fill out any applicant forms.

IMM5532

3. The date this current cohabitation started.

4 and 11. I'm not going to go open the form and look up the questions.

PA Supportng Documents

If CBSA stamped her passport on entry, that is her proof. If they didn't stamp her passport, then she can just write a short letter of explanation stating that.

Google IRCC PCC...

Proof of Relationship

Her being a visitor doesn't mean she can't sign a lease, be on bills, open a bank account, get on your cell phone plan etc. Have you tried doind any of these things?

Thank you so much for the reply to everything else! This has been so helpful! and Sorry I wasn't as detailed on a couple of the questions D:

Question 11 asks if there is more information we'd like to share to support our relationship. Should we fill anything out? Would it look bad if we didn't? We can definitely write something there but I'm not sure what exactly it's asking for here.

4. If it doesn't grey out after answering question 3, I would actually write N/A after printing the form.

11. If you have ticked all the necessary boxes on the checklist and have a straightforward app, I don't see the point in adding anything. It would be more for people who have stuff to explain.

Again, thank you! This has been immensely helpful!
