HELP!! Study permit expired last november. PGWP?

Hi,
I was in a masters programme. It is a 2 year programme. I was still working on my thesis so I thought I'll go back home and apply for a new study permit when I am done. So I let my visa expire.

But now I've decided to drop out of the programme with a graduate diploma that was for 8 months. I still haven't applied to graduate. I saw that it isn't possible to apply for PGWP without a valid student permit.

You need confirmation that you have completed your course and a valid study permit before you can apply for PGWP. I had to wait until I got letter from college before I applied.

Yeah but once I receive my diploma how can I apply for a student visa?

You cannot apply for a PGWP on the back of the course you just finished as your visa has run out now. The best chance to get a PGWP is to apply and complete another course. Unfortunately, if you wanted a PGWP you shouldn't have let your study visa expire.
