how long does the background check take for sb with a military background?

Dear All,

My FSW application has already passed the 6-month processing time, and everything has passed except for the background check. It has started on Sept 1, and still ongoing. I would like to check with some experts on this forum about the typical duration for someone with a mandatory military service background (e.g. males from Turkey or South Korea) to go through the background check. Could you please advise. Feeling really stuck now.

Same here. All done except security which started 12 December 2017. Did you get your MR or PPR? Thanks.

Even though a family immigration case. Me being the prime applicant. Security chk started arnd Jan with no news as of now (May). Please do keep this thread active and give me a heads up about the time they take for the military background check. Did anyone get their PR as of now

Hello Fellow,

My husband had an exemption from the obligatory service and he didnt have any history we sent the exemption letter and they send him to security screening since december 18th till now no update

Wonder what they are and how they are doing their process !!

Can u please update how long it took for you to clear background we are in same situation really mental stress
