Here is my timeline for you to help. My status on GCKEY and ECAS got updated at the same time. I first logged on my ECAS and it showed "Medical results have been received" and I logged on GCKEY, it updated to "You have passed medical exam". I think you should call them to ask about it. It is not supposed to be so long for the results.
This is helpful, thank you. We both live in the US so we can't call, but I'll submit an inquiry through the webform.

My husband also got his medical request on Sept. 1. He completed the exam on Sept. 15, and since then ecas only shows "Medical results have been received." It's been nearly 2 months--I thought we would have learned if he passed the medical exam (or not) by now. Anyone know if this is normal? Or is nothing normal with Citizenship and Immigration Canada, lol.
I have a similar timeline for medical request and exam. My GCKey showed medical results passed a couple of days after they were received, but my ECAS has stayed at received. So I would recommend checking your GCKey account or have someone call for you to hear that information.

We live in US too. You should call the CIC number available in US. it is 613-944-4000. This is the number you can call in US and they will transfer you directly to CIC office. We always call this number to ask questions about our application. The only problem is sometimes there are too many people waiting in the phone line, and you need to wait for a long time. I hope this can help you out about your situation.

I just tried calling, and the automated message said something to the effect of my call couldn't be put through because I'm outside the calling area. How did you get through? Thanks again for your help!

My pleasure to help you. I cant make it from my personal phone, too, same situation as yours, so I put 10 bucks into skype and called them from skype. It works fine for me. Try to call via skype and i think you should be fine this time. btw the working time for CIC is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Just to let you know. I hope this can help you a bit about it.

Right now I have passed medical exam and have submit SA& police certificate. I am waiting for them to contact me for next step. I just wonder is it considered as AOR2? and the thing is I do not know whether they have transferred my file to VO or not. Thank you for your advice !
Oh I see! If you’ve passed the medical exams, next should be a change in your BGC from In-progress to In-process, then waiting game begins. Ive been on my 2nd month of waiting since my BGC stat changed to In-process.

Hey. Don't see you in the Mississauga thread anymore. Has your background check started yet? I remember your application was received exactly a month before mine.

Unfortunately no background check yet. Still waiting like a bunch of other May applicants. I'm still checking the Mississauga thread, just haven't commented in a while. Hopefully, my next post will be soon and be BGC in progress!! :-)

I live in United States and i could use the phone number 613-944-4000 to contact CIC and speak to the agent. I do not know if that works for other countries.
