Hi everyone,
I'm really confused with question 9c and even more by CIT0177E form attached to it.

SITUATION:
My eligibility period is 2012-11-30 to 2017-11-30
I came to Canada on temporary work permit on 2013-05-04 following my Canadian girlfriend at the time.
During my eligibility period I spend 153 days outside Canada (from 2012-11-30 to 2013-05-04).
I didn't claim those days as credit, but I did include those days as absence from Canada in physical presence calculator to not leave any gaps.
QUESTIONS:
1)Was I right to include those 153 in absence days in Calculator even tho it was before I had any plans of settling in Canada???
2)In question 10a I did include period I lived outside Canada- i imagine thats correct???
3)In question 10b ....do I add those 153 days (before I came to Canada in my eligibility period) to 183 days??
4) And last ,real gem, question 9c :Do I count those days before I came to Canada with intent to settle here ??
Do I answer "yes" to 9C???? What do I do with form CIT0177, cause honestly I don't feel like I belong to any of categories listed in that form??

Thank you very much to anybody who will be able to answer those questions.
If not I'll make sure to post my answers, after I spend few hours to listening Celine Dion on CIC help phone that is if I manage to reach someone,:)
Thank you.Have a great day

1) Yes. Any days outside Canada under your eligibility period should be included in the calculator.
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) You dont need to fill that form. Its only for certain cases only e.g. crown servant, military etc etc. From what you've said, you dont fall in any of that category.
