Hi, you can wait for OINP to request for duplicate ECA from WES but ideally you should send it upfront because they do ask for it and when they do it just delays the processing of the application.

In my case also I waited for OINP to ask for it, when I placed an order with Wes they took 5 working days to process it with the weekend in between it eventually took more than a week for completion of the delivery.

The delays just add to anxiety when one is eagerly waiting for a decision on the application.

Hi @Akula if you have successfully submitted your application, in my opinion you should order the duplicate ECA from Wes right away, because the next step for OINP will be Assessment of your application, that's when they will check completeness of your application. They will need this ECA then.

Instructions after you log into WES:

click the Order Duplicate IRCC button
"Would you like to order additional copies for yourself?" should be checked No
Under "Recipient 2: Institution(s) receiving your report", delete the IRCC entry and add "Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCIIT"
under Attention To, put your OINP file number
Then you should be charged a fee of $41.81

Hi Guys,

I just made the payment of CAD 1500 and the money got deducted from my credit card but the page never redirected back to OINP neither I got any receipt of the payment from OINP as of now and the status of my application is still "Waiting for Submission".
What shall I do now?
Does this happened with anyone else as well?

check with your bank who provided you the credit card...If payment is not made you should receive a refund.
Accordingly initiate the payment towards the ONIP application.

I checked with my bank and they said that they have approved this payment made towards MCI-OINP and I have received the email from bank for the same but my application status hasnt changed from "Waiting for Submission" and I can still edit my profile

I suggest put a mail to them and call them regarding the case..
attach and send the mail you received from the bank stating the successful payment towards ONIP

Finally got the mail from OINP about the receipt of payment and application status is now submitted

Sometimes OINP can ask for the latest bank statement while the application is still in process.

So at least till the time you receive nomination you should maintain the funds required as per your eligibility.
After nomination you will be applying for PR with IRCC which is the post ITA process, you will again need to maintain sufficient balance.
