Mine was delivered to the FBI on 7th August, and the credit card was charged on 11th November. Does this mean the fingerprints are ok and have been accepted by them? or do they charge credit card even if they reject them?

They charge cc when they open the application just shoot them a email asking for an update they will give exact status

Mine delivered Aug 7 and the money order is not cashed yet. Maybe money order will take a few days to clear?

I am waiting for FBI pcc. Would you advise to decline the ITA to win additional time? FBI received the package on October 24. I have 55 days left to submit docs post ITA.

You can submit with a loe rather than rejecting the ita

Thank you for the response. May I ask in how many days did you receive your PCC after the credit card charge?

Mine took around 16 days from CC charge... I am in US and it is a local mail.

I have sent all the forms and fingerprints through USPS with tracking, but the tracking status shows 'Available for pickup' status. So, Did this happened to anyone else? Was an attempt made to deliver and no one was there to accept? I would really appreciate if anyone can help with this issue.

I myself sent to USPS, but didnot having any tracking. I was able to find out only after my CC was charged. I got lucky..

But this happened to me only for overseas mail... I have sent a mail to overseas and I had tracking, the status was 'Available for pickup' and they did not take any action to deliver it. When I called USPS, after an hour's wait I was told to make arrangement for picking up the mail by the recipient... I have to send it again through fedex....It sucks...

I would suggest you to make one more print and application and send through FEDEX or UPS.

ll14 - If you have a car and can travel, please go to a different town. There is no restriction that you should be living in a particular area for the local PD to do your finger printing. Usually medium sized towns are the best for this job. Larger cities may be crowded, and smaller towns may have older systems.

well, i just got fingerprinting done. and there is a restriction. i went to a Police station in US town which is 20 miles away from my house. (because i work near that PD), they only did it because i work in that area code. otherwise they asked me to go a PD near my house where i live.

Thanks. I checked the status and it changed to "Delivered" now, so what I saw earlier was an interim status. The reason I opted for mail with tracking number is to have just another proof to provide with LOE to CIC in case I need to request for extension to submit PCC.

I just called FBI about my application that was delivered on Aug 2nd. I was told that it was processed today and the letter would be sent out Wednesday morning. If I receive it in 2-3 business days, that will be around 15 weeks and 3 days.

Thanks, yeah it changed to 'Delivered'. I think I panicked too early.
