I did my landing on Sep-23. My status shows a bit different "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded". for some people it is " The additional documents you provided are in review" not sure what each status mean. Any thoughts guys?

Hi Ajay,

I'm presuming that you are talking about the PR Card application that you have linked after landing (and not the Express Entry nor the actual PR Application)

My PR Card application documents status was "The additional documents you provided are in review" a few days before the PR Card application was approved and the pr card was dispatched.

On the day the card was approved and dispatched via Canada Post, the doc status was updated to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded". Please check what your application's 'Final Decision' section says ...

How do one get a photo request actually? Via mail or an email?

Via email. Some people have reported that email never came and they found out only by calling to ask about status.

After you land, you need to link PR card application (which is submitted by the officer during the landing process) in your CIC Account to track the process. Please refer to the following link for detailed instruction.

Thank you. I tried to do this and it says it found no applications. I tried several different combinations (UCI, application number, personal details). When I try to find the status of my application separately (without linking) it also says it can't find my application. I landed on Sept. 21. How worried should I be? I have sent them two emails (their system won't connect to an agent anymore) but have heard nothing back.

Please note, if you are entering the place of birth as noted on your COPR and not getting any results, try entering your place of birth EXACTLY AS NOTED ON YOUR PASSPORT (including any spaces, commas, and dashes if any)

Photo request 4th Oct
Photo received by CIC 6th Oct
Application approved 13th Nov.
Now awaiting for card to be delivered in mail.

I thought maybe that was the problem and typed in the country of birth there and also for country of birth and still nothing. I also tried with my town of birth from my passport. I'm supposed to go to the US on the 21st and am worried that they may not even be able to find my file on my return. I'll try calling them again tomorrow. The last few times I called, the phone system wouldn't put me through to an agent. Hopefully tomorrow will be different.

When did you land? If it has been more than 6 weeks since you completed landing formalities, then I would suggest just trying to call CIC helpline as described. Try a couple more times, this is usually busy time for them, but people do get through.

I landed Sept. 21, so more than six weeks. I'll try calling again tomorrow. This is very frustrating. Thanks for your help.

My photos were delivered on 05-Oct. Status changed to approved today. Hope to receive my card by end of this week.
