Do you have an lmia?barunk said:Hi Friends,
I changed the LMIA section to gain additional points. It did not work for me. I am not seeing the change. Withdrawn and recreated profile today. But still sitting with same score. Any clue ?
Thanks
That is because unfortunately, if you're on a PGWP, you still need an LMIA to get the extra points for a job offer.thepilot said:I meant to choose NO as I am under PGWP.
Hi - I am in similar situation as you were. I created my profile yesterday by selecting "No" for LIMA question and got incorrect score (i.e. 50 points missing). Then, I later corrected my answer with "LIMA exempt, employer specific" and transmitted my application. Since then, I haven't received 50 points.tauqirakhtar said:I had to update the LMIA related question to "NO, my Work Permit is LMIA Exempt:. When you submit your application by answering all the questions correctly for those 50 points, then you'll see this score within 24 hours. There is no special rule to in order to show-up these 50 points. If anyone here with ICT then there is another thread is going on. You can post your questions there.npratapa said:Hello,
Please let me know after how many days 50 Points for arranged employment will be added to the application after submitting the application?
Im on the same situation. I've been working for my current employer for many years in a different country (it's a Canadian company that operates in many countries around the world through fully owned subsidiaries) and was transferred recently to Canada (Intra Company Transfer). The question on the EE profile is: "Has xxx been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year?". It´s not 100% clear to me because it doesnt say "working full-time in Canada". I could answer "yes" if the question refers to the total time I´ve been working for my current employer, but im not sure about it (the job offer even says that my date of Continuos Services with the company will remain from the date I joined the company, several years ago). Please your advice.I have recently started working in Canada on a LMIA-exempt job offer. Do I have to have 1-year Canadian work experience (with the same employer) to get the 50 points? 50 points don't seem to reflect in my profile otherwise?
Hi,Hi
Can anyone pls advice ?
Thanks
LMIA exempt employer specific for ICTHi,
So you are saying while submitting the profile we need to select LMIA exempt employer specific? Or LMIA exempt international agreement since mine is intra company transfer.. Please advise
