How can we know that they are checking our background?

It's in your gckey status. If your status states under background check category. Screenshot of mine for reference.

Best idea is to call them and ask if they maybe need more documents? Also, what does your gckey status say now? Do you have a line stating 'we need more documents ' there too?

it looks like DM is on its way. typically when there is 4th line added, DM is very close!!

Sorry, I don’t agree with this. I have these 4 lines since Sept 9th, AOR Aug 2. Additional Documents stills says uploaded on GC Key,I guess they didn’t even review them yet. Otherwise it should have changed to reviewing & then to no additional docs required. I think till the time they don’t review uploaded documents that 3rd line doesn’t go away or it could be a system glitch.

I checked my ECAS today and it changed to Decision Made! It's surprising given that my background check was updated to have started last Wednesday. However, I had already submitted all background checks for myself and my closest family back in June. Maybe that's why it was faster, not sure.

Anyhow, can LVO applicants tell me how long until email with instructions to send passport and images now?

Visa Processing : London Visa Office

My husband receive PPR today, they are requesting his passport to be sent to Abu Dhabi Visa Office as my husband used to work in DUBAI Uae, however he is now in the Philippines, any suggestions or any similar cases here, what did you do? Did you send passport in Abu Dhabi or they were able to transfer to Manila Visa Office?
