I have been residing outside of Canada with my Canadian spouse for my whole permanent residence period and I've been visiting Canada on different occasions. My PR card will expire in Jan 2018 my question is do I get to count these days I spent inside Canada for citizenship even after I renew my PR ?

How are you going to be eligible for citizenship if you only visited Canada ‘on different occasions’? Unless these occasions took about 1095 days in Canada for the last 1825 days, there is no need to worry about applying for citizenship since it won’t happen

Sure, if those vacations add up to 1095 days ... The rule is there and it is clear that if you don’t have 1095 days in Canada you are not eligible .

What I meant was let's consider I counted around 450 days in Canada in my 5 years as a PR since 2011... And I renewed my PR in 2018 and decided to stay in Canada to fulfill the required days. do I get to consider these 450 days in counting for citizenship ?

Assuming you permanently move to Canada in 2018, and assuming you apply for citizenship in 2020, out of those 450 days, only those days that fall between 2015-2018 would count

Yes you can count these days.

1. No, not quite right. The OP "landed" in 2011, if s/he applied in 2020 the only days that can be counted are from 2015 to 2020, nothing prior to the 5 years prior to the date of the application are counted.
