entry visa for all family members

Hello

I recently apply to a visa for me and my family, as we are planing our family vacations outside Canada and we will have to return of course
We all have valid work permits (my wife and I) and study permit (my daugther) valid to June 2018 and we currently live in Canada.
I did the online application using my personal CIC profile and acting as family representative. I followed all the steps to add family members to the application and paid the fees for the three of us.
However when I submit the application, the system created 3 separated applications... I received the approval on the next day for my visa, but my wife and daughter applications still in progress.

is that normal?

I don't understand why the system asked to fill the IMM5257 (application for visitor visa) for me only, while asking IMM5708 forms (application to change conditions) for my wife and daughter.

Maybe because every individual is assessed as an individual same as your wife has an individual work permit and your daughter has a study permit. Add to that you have your own passports to which any permits or visas will be linked. Just have to be patient I guess.

IMM5708 is wrong. That is an application to change their status to visitor, not an app for TRVS. You need to withdraw those applications and reapply for them with the actual TRV app.
