Hi Guys, please tell me what I can understand or predict about my application status if I receive email from CIC about pre-arrival services.
Today I received an email that applicant can receive pre-arrival free services funded my the Canada.
What is the meaning of this email?

Finally! the GCKey notes changed to "application approved" and the prepaid Canada Post is on the way from Ottawa ( confirmation of PR )

I am march 27 applicant and wasnt receiving anything after Aor2 so decided to email them and finally received their response but no hope.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with APPLICANT application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

Just thought to let you guys know. I have emailed them a month ago and received their response last night.
